Chef Tracey Bloom Whipped up the Most Perfect Batch of Homemade Potato Chips
The Don't Be Tardy chef is making us wish we had a deep-fryer at home.
The Biermann family kitchen is constantly buzzing. Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her husband, Kroy, have six kids to feed — not to mention, appetites of their own. Luckily, the large crew has a personal chef to tend to their every craving, whether the family's after something sweet, savory, or even deep-fried. Enter the homemade potato chips.
In a series of Instagram snaps from Brielle Biermann and Don't Be Tardy chef Tracey Bloom, we saw proof that store-bought potato chips do not equal fresh ones. One slide shows sliced potatoes going into a vat of bubbling oil. "[Homemade] potato chips," Brielle captioned her shot. We can almost hear the chips sizzling from here.
Later, Brielle showed off the finished product. Perfectly golden, the crispy chips had been dusted with spices and herbs for a picture-perfect presentation. And in the end, they served as a mere side dish for the main course. Tracey had also prepared plump shrimp rolls:
This isn't the only time a Bravolebrity has made us pause to consider our potato-chip options. Last summer, Lisa Rinna introduced us to a whole new world of chip flavors when she cruised the Canadian snack aisles. Have you heard about the Roast Chicken flavor?
