This Over-the-Top, Topless Halloween Look Has the Internet Completely Mesmerized
We hope you're going to an indoor party — brr!
The Internet can not stop staring at a Halloween look that comprises body paint, glitter ... and not much else. The month of October is like Christmas for makeup artists, and freelance MUA Mia Kennington — who runs Thrills of Tomorrow — has been using the trick-or-treat season to show off her transformative skills. And at least one of these looks requires little more than some body paint and a whole lot of glitter.
Earlier this month, Kennington posted a photo of a rather comely skeleton. The makeup artist's model displayed a chest full of colorful, intricate, swirling designs. And while wearing a shirt would only cover that amazing artwork up so why bother, the model's most delicate bits were still protected. Kennington laid a beautiful pattern of jewels out in the area where Pasties might go. (On a less classy skeleton, of course.)
According to Cosmopolitan, the eye-popping design was actually inspired by Spider-Man. We can totally spot the superhero's signature blue and red hues. And, let's be real: it would take superhuman strength to pull off this look on a chilly night in late October.
If you try this look, let's hope that whatever party you're going to has plenty of hot apple cider! In the meantime, peep a few more of Kennington's fantastical designs to get some seasonal inspiration.
