Bravolebs Reveal Their New Year's Resolutions
Jacqueline Laurita, Kyle Richards, Andy Cohen and others on how they're jumpstarting 2014.
New year, new resolutions!
Now that 2014 has kicked off, our Bravo stars are ready to tackle the year with goals to improve their lives. Who's quitting drinking for the month? Who's going to start thinking more positive thoughts? And who's going to finally clear out their inbox with email clutter? Read on to find out.
Kyle Richards
While walking the red carpet at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball, Kyle Richards had as much to say about what her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars should do for New Year's resolutions as she did her own! She vows to "try to stay off [her] iPhone" and "eat less," and hopes that 2014 will be a nicer year for her and the girls. "How about if we just say 'be nice' across the board?" she said. "I think that would apply to all of them right now. Well, most of them. Try to be nicer. [It will] go a long way."
Joyce Giraud
Joyce Giraud had a bit more to say on the subject, calling out some of her RHOBH castmates. "Kyle's should be to stay exactly the way she is. She's great. She has a great family. She's beautiful inside and out. Lisa's should also be to stay beautiful and classy and gorgeous and elegant. Yolanda, I don't know what I would recommend [for] her. Brandi, I would recommend [for] her to stop being such a victim, and start owning up to your actions, and start living your life. She's a gorgeous on the outside. Try to match the internal beauty with your outside."
And for herself? "My new year's resolution is to just try to stay as happy as I am so far, don't let the negativity inside and don't let anything obstruct the happiness that I feel."
Rachel Zoe
In true forward-thinking fashion, Rachel Zoe didn't just come up with one New Year's style resolution—she made ten! The designer and new mom is looking forward to a chic 2014, and encourages fans to do the same by "stepping outside [their] comfort zone" with trends, donating old or unwanted clothes to charity and embrace some eco-conscious brands.
Kenya Moore
It may not be an official resolution, but Kenya Moore's got big plans for 2014: she's hoping to start a family, with or without a partner, by the end of the year.
Andy Cohen
In the most recent episode of @sk Andy, Andy Cohen hopes that everyone will join him with his first goal for 2014: "Let's all not drink for the month of January!"
Jacqueline Laurita
Our inbox can be a bit nightmarish at times, but yikes! Jacqueline Laurita shared her New Year's resolution via Twitter, saying that she hopes to catch up on her thousands and thousands of emails.
Lea Black
Leave it to Lea Black to come at her New Year's resolutions with a methodical, cool head. The reigning voice of reason on The Real Housewives of Miami shared her resolutions with OK! Magazine: "To calm my patience, to spend more time with my son RJ and husband Roy, to work out more often and eat very healthy, communicate in a way that supports all people involved."
Tamra Barney
The Real Housewives of Orange County star has had a huge year—she married Eddie Judge in a beautiful seaside ceremony in June—and she's hoping to carry on the positivity into 2014. Tamra shared her New Year's resolutions on her Facebook page: "My New Year's Resolution is to think & stay positive no matter how hard. I tend to think of the negative before the positive, all that does is bring bad energy. Many years of disappointment taught me that behavior, love and happiness is helping me change that behavior … Happy New Year!"
