The Best Supermodel Moments from the 2016 Cannes Film Festival
Posing 101 is now in session.
There's something about a black-tie dress code, a coastline backdrop, and droves of supermodels in jaw-dropping gowns. You get it, right? It's impossible to look away. Though movie stars got top billing in the Cannes Film Festival's featured films, the models stole the show in the style department. (Okay, maybe not Julia's show. But you can't win 'em all.) Here's a look at the best supermodel looks from this year's glitzy fest.
1. Milla Jovovich
For the premiere of The Last Face, the woman we've all been obsessed with since forever turned up in a backless Prada gown with a plunging v-neck.
2. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
We swear by Rosie's Snapchat beauty tutorials. But we have a feeling you have to be Rosie to look this good. The British beauty wore Alexandre Vauthier Couture with a cherry-red lip to match. The lipstick, btw, is "Supermodel Kiss" from Rosie's Rosie for Autograph collection. (We'll never stop trying to learn.)
3. Bella Hadid
While we're on the topic of smokin' red dresses, let us never forget Bella's Alexandre Vauthier gown. No way are we playing who wore it best here. (Hint: they both did.)
4. Kate Moss
Red dress, leg slit, one of the hottest models on earth. Never gets old, right? Just checking. Kate's dress was vintage Halston.
5. Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan channeled a fairtyale princess in a floral-embroidered gown by Ralph & Russo. She also rocked the best cat-eye we saw all week. (Jourdan! Tutorial, please?)
6. Chanel Iman
For the amFAR gala, Chanel wore an off-the-shoulder, netted gown from Marchesa. She's kind of giving us most glamorous mermaid ever.
7. . Kendall Jenner
The Harper's Bazaar cover star stunned in a naked dress by Roberto Cavalli couture by Peter Dundas. She accessorized the look with slicked-back hair, a nude lip, and shoulder-grazing earrings.
8. Karlie Kloss
Karlie was the picture of elegance at the amFAR gala, where she wore an off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown and a striking red lip. (See, also: leg slit No. a billion. We think it's safe to call this a trend.)
9. Heidi Klum
Heidi hit a cocktail bash in this body-skimming, silvery dress by Saint Laurent. With relaxed waves and dewy skin, she looks like she just came from a day at the beach. (Which she very well did.)
