If you’re a shoe addict like us here at Most Wanted HQ, then you’ll remember the hubbub surrounding the 2007 opening of Saks Fifth Avenue’s 10022 –Shoe Salon in New York City—a department so big, that the U.S. Postal Service actually gave the space its own zip code. Home to more than 200,000 pairs of shoes from 220+ designers, the salon has since rolled into 25 additional cities in the U.S. and Canada—with the retailer selling more than 8.5 million pairs of shoes in the past decade. That’s a lot of shoes, people.
