We'll just come out and say it: The star has recently been spotted rocking a man bun. True, the style has graced the heads of many a hot man in Hollywood, and who are we to judge? It's just that this particular bun seemed rather, well, sudden. Behold:
On July 28, the Boston native's hair was business as usual. Matt wore it short, and closely cropped to his head.
But less than a month later, he's hitting the town with a new, thick and lustrous 'do. Is it possible to grow a bun so quickly? According to one stylist, that would be rather tough. Sacha Quarles, an Emmy-nominated hairstylist who worked on Sex and the City and has clients such as Colin Farrell, Josh Brolin, and Robert Downey Junior, has one guess as to what's at the heart of this hair mystery: it's a wig! "Hair needs to be at least three-to-four inches to attach extensions," he explains.
