See Tom Schwartz's "Really Thoughtful" Gift for Katie Flood: "So Cute"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member picked up a sweet surprise for his Winter House castmate amid their budding "situationship."
Katie Flood may be less than impressed by Tom Schwartz's struggle to call her by her first name on Season 3 of Winter House (watch the video above for more on that), but on Episode 5, Katie was moved by his "thoughtful" surprise for her.
During the episode, which aired on November 21, Tom, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Kyle Cooke, and Brian Benni went shopping at a Steamboat Springs store called Haus of Cucu, which sells hats, boots, jewelry, and more. "There's a lot to take in," Kyle said as he looked around. While most of the vacation housemates were looking for hats, Tom seemed intrigued by the jewelry selection.
"Is that a type of turquoise?" the Vanderpump Rules cast member asked about one item. After hearing it was "300 bucks," he seemed to move on, although he did say, "I feel like [Katie] would rock this, actually." Pointing to another item, he declared, "I'll get this for my situationship."

Back at the house, Tom finally gave the Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie her gift: turquoise cowboy boot earrings. "You're the cutest," Katie said to Tom. "These are so cute!"
"Wow, that's a really thoughtful thing," she added in an episode interview. "I'm definitely not used to guys being considerate enough — wow, this sounds terrible. I really need to sort out my dating life."
Later, Katie was excited to show off her gift from Tom. "Look what Tom got me," she said to Malia White, who responded, "Oh, cute!"
"A man buys you jewelry, just take it," Malia quipped, to which Katie responded with a laugh, "Oh, no, I'll take it. It's been taken."
Katie wore the earrings for the group's themed party later that day and completed her look with denim shorts, black tights, black boots, a white fringe shirt, and a black cowboy hat.

Tom and Katie connected almost instantly on Season 3 of Winter House. On Episode 2, Tom declared, "Katie's a 10 out of 10 for me," but he had trouble wrapping his head around romancing someone with the same name as his ex-wife, Katie Maloney.
Still, the two shared a steamy kiss during Episode 4, and although Tom still had some concerns about the name situation, things seemed to be moving in a positive direction as Tom gave Katie the earrings during Episode 5. However, the episode ended with Katie "really pissed off" as the subject of her name came up once again. "Either get the f-ck over it or don't do anything at all," she said in an interview. "Which one is it?"
