Looks Like John Cena Was Playing Plead the Fifth About Nikki Bella and Andy Cohen Didn’t Realize It
Of course, John Cena's relationship with former fiancée Nikki Bella came up on his Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen appearance.
John Cena and Nikki Bella called off their engagement just weeks before their wedding day, and it's still a tender subject, as the actor and professional wrestler showed Monday night in the Bravo Clubhouse during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
A caller asked Cena what the toughest part of being on a reality show (Total Bellas) that showed their former relationship was and whether he'd do another reality show again.
"I think the toughest part is adjusting to the world watching you and being able to weigh in on decisions that are essentially lightly scripted television and digest them as reality," Cena said.
Andy asked if he and Nikki Bella are still in contact, and Cena super politely declined to answer.
"That's a wonderful question and thank you very much for asking," he replied. "But my personal business will stay my personal business and I appreciate that, thank you."
"But you were on a reality show with her," Andy poked.
"I was, and that time is done," Cena said. "And through trial and error we find out what we value, what we believe in, and I really value being able to have moments that are mine."
Watch the clip above to see if Cena thinks that Total Bellas caused the breakup.
Meanwhile, someone who is talking a lot about Nikki Bella right now is her twin sister, Brie, who recently told E! News a lot more about Nikki's current dating situation than Nikki was willing to reveal herself. Nikki told E! that she is dating dancer Artem Chigvintsev, but she downplayed the seriousness of the relationship.
"You sleep with the same person, you only post about it, means you're official," Brie said.
"Wow. You just put my vagina on blast. Thank you," Nikki replied.
