Someone Randomly Venmo-ed Tom Schwartz for Cash to Eat at Tom Tom — And He Went for It!
The Vanderpump Rules entrepreneur was not trying to leave a homie hanging — and he served up the Tom Tom VIP treatment.
If you think Tom Schwartz comes off on Vanderpump Rules as a good guy, wait until you hear about what he did for a random fan this weekend!
The once fledgling macktor (that's model-actor) is of course a partner in the uber-buzzy West Hollywood hotspot Tom Tom, with pal Tom Sandoval, Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd. And when a stranger sent him a request on Venmo to send her some cash so she could take an Uber to the bar, Tom actually went for it!
At the very least, he acted like he was going for it — but his Instagram story tells a very legit-looking tale. Tom posted a screenshot of the request to his Instagram Stories and saying, "LOL this is actually gonna work for them. But they have to tag me in photos when they are there. Safe travels friends!"
Whether this actually worked for the Venmo user is unknown at this point, but she definitely got his attention!
Please don't go bombarding Tom with more cash requests on Venmo now, because it's safe to say he's not going to just hand out briefcases of cash like he gave to Lisa and Ken during a memorable episode of #PumpRules. In fact, word to the wise: Asking for unreasonable handouts at Tom Tom is one way to give up VIP status — stat.
However, please do consider Tom's own recommendations on what to order if you go to Tom Tom: artichoke green chile dip, spicy cauliflower and the Nutcase, a cocktail with coconut rum, St. Germain, pineapple, fresh lime, orange, nutmeg and fresh coconut.
