Tom Schwartz Just Dropped a Major Hint About Tom Tom's Expansion
The Vanderpump Rules star implied that the bar and restaurant's new space will be straight out of a fairy tale.
While we don't know much about the Tom Tom expansion just yet, according to junior partner Tom Schwartz, the new space may look like it came straight out of a fairy tale.
"Pumped for you all to see the [Tom Tom] expansion when we get up and running," the Vanderpump Rules star wrote as part of a lengthy Instagram caption reflecting on the show's eighth season. "Enchanted forest chic."
The aesthetic sounds similar to Tom Tom's current location's new outdoor seating space, which boasts tree-trunk tabletops, touches of greenery, and jewel-toned pillows. While giving a tour of the cocktail garden to a local news station earlier this year, Lisa Vanderpump explained: "I'm really making it into this romantic kind of conservatory type of feel. I'm very happy with it; it's very pretty."
For more than a year, Tom has been dropping hints about the restaurant bar's expansion, and while he has yet to disclose more details, on a recent "Pumped Up" edition of Vanderpump Rules, he revealed that New York City, Las Vegas, Hawaii, his hometown of Saint Louis, and his current neighborhood, Valley Village, are all on his wish list of future Tom Tom locations.
While Tom recently told PEOPLE that he and fellow junior partner Tom Sandoval planned to "open a grimy dive bar together eventually," we suspect that the future business, which he joked would be "really seedy" and would have "lots of violations and claims, lawsuits and nothing above a C grading,” doesn't quite fit the "enchanted forest chic" vibe of Tom Tom's newest location.
For the moment, Tom Tom, as well as Lisa's other restaurants SUR, Villa Blanca, and Pump, have temporarily shut their doors amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. "Together we will get through this and come out stronger on the other side," an Instagram post from Tom Tom's official account explained at the time. "Keep following us for updates and we hope we can welcome you back again soon. Stay safe."
