SUR Has Officially Reopened After Closing Due to COVID-19
Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood eatery is once again offering outdoor dining.
Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurant SUR is once again open for business, nearly three months after temporarily closing its doors due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The eatery officially resumed business earlier this month, as announced on its official Instagram account. “SUR is reopening its doors just in time to celebrate Valentine together!” the caption in a February 8 post read. “Book your table starting February 11th.”
SUR suspended all dining services back in November in accordance with the city’s safety mandates amid the ongoing pandemic. “Per the LA county public health department, we are required to close our beautiful socially distanced patios and garden by Wednesday night at 10pm,” the restaurant explained on Instagram at the time.
According to the restaurant’s website and Instagram page, SUR is now taking reservations for its outdoor garden and terrace seating. Shortly after confirming its re-opening, the eatery offered a peek inside one of its first nights back in business.
“SUR Rules,” the caption read alongside a video of patrons dining al fresco.
This is the second time over the last year that SUR has reopened after a temporary closure due to COVID-19 protocols. The restaurant previously shuttered for about six months before resuming business in September with new safety practices in place.
