SUR Has Officially Reopened 6 Months After Closing Due to Coronavirus

Six months after temporarily closing due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurant SUR is once again open for business. 

"And we are Back !!" read a post shared to the eatery's official Instagram account. "SUR RESTAURANT is officially reopened."

According to the restaurant's website, SUR is now taking dinner reservations for outdoor garden and terrace seating. "We've updated our space," reads a statement on the site. "And have put new practices in place to make sure we can provide a safe, comfortable and fun dining experience for everyone!"

Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, who are junior partners at Lisa's Tom Tom restaurant that currently remains closed, took to Instagram to document SUR's first night back in business. In a video of the restaurant Schwartz shared with the caption, "Res avail now,"  Sandoval was hard at work behind the bar as he poured three shots.

In March, the Vanderpump Rules boss' other restaurants including Villa Blanca, Pump, and Tom Tom also temporarily closed their doors. "It saddens us to have to do this, but with the advisement of the government and local authorities, we have closed our restaurants until further notice," read a post on Tom Tom's official Instagram page. "These are scary times right now, but nothing is more important than the health and safety of our employees and guests. We encourage everyone to social distance themselves, to allow our community to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and we hope everyone does their utmost to fight this."

"Together we will get through this and come out stronger on the other side," the post concluded. "Keep following us for updates and we hope we can welcome you back again soon. Stay safe."
