A Truck Full of Lisa Vanderpump's Custom Decor Went Missing: "Where’s My Stuff?"
The Vanderpump Rules boss recalled "standing in Vegas for five days...waiting for this truck" filled with "irreplaceable" items for her new restaurant.
After years of opening successful new restaurants, Lisa Vanderpump is no stranger to expertly navigating setbacks along the way. However, a recent experience left her "pulling [her] hair out" in frustration.
As the Vanderpump Rules boss explained to the Daily Mail, she was expecting custom decor to arrive at her new restaurant, Vanderpump à Paris — which is expected to open this winter — but it never showed up on the scheduled January 17 delivery date.
"I’m standing in Vegas for five days — for five days — waiting for this truck," Lisa recalled to the Daily Mail. "We don’t know where it is, [the driver is] not answering his phone. For five days it’s gone rogue." Lisa's design partner Nick Alain added: "The guy ghosted ... he just ghosted."
The truck was filled with "irreplaceable" items, Lisa explained. "It’s stuff we’ve put our heart and soul into for months and months."
Eventually, the truck was located in Houston, Texas, allegedly near the driver's home. "The story is that his truck broke," Nick said with a laugh. "It’s so convenient that the truck broke down right in front of his house." Although the delivery is now once again on its way to Las Vegas, Lisa explained, "It is so frustrating, it’s going to set our opening back."
In a January 25 Instagram post, Lisa shared the Daily Mail article, writing in a caption, "Where’s my stuff???"
