On January 7, Katie and several of her Vanderpump Rules pals attended the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in style. (The show had been nominated for Oustanding Unstructured Reality Program.) For her look, the Something About Her co-owner opted for a gorgeous, solid-gold ensemble.

Katie Maloney's Gold Dress for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards
In her Instagram Stories from Emmys night, Katie shared a peek at her sparkling ensemble. Posing in her Los Angeles living room, the Utah native wore a solid-gold look that featured a collared top and a sweeping skirt with a leg slit. She accented her outfit with beaded sandals and a sleek beauty look, which we'll dive into below.
Striking a pose in front of her disco balls, the podcast host wrote: "Fancy." Indeed, she embodied all the glitz of the big night in Hollywood.

Katie also shared a look at her makeup. Tagging Los Angeles-based artist Delsin DePuy, the former SURver wrote: "[Delsin] is a [makeup] wizard. Beyond obsessed with this look."
Katie's dark hair had a wet look with a deep side part. She played up her eyes by rimming her top and bottom lashlines with black liner and used plum-colored shadows to smoke out her lids. To match her shimmering outfit, Katie wore the subtlest dusting of glitter under each eye. A glossy pink lip and luminous, rosy cheeks capped off Katie's Creative Arts Emmy Awards glam.

Throughout her evening at the awards show, Katie took to Instagram Stories to share some behind-the-scenes footage. One photo showed her seated next to Ariana Madix during the ceremony.
She also showed off "snacks on snacks," which included elegantly plated goods that she and her pals enjoyed on a mirrored tabletop. Later, posting a photo of the stage decor, Katie reflected: "Tonight was cool." And when she was back home in bed, Katie marveled over the coolness once more.
"It was so cool to attend an Emmy award presentation as a nominee," she wrote. "Like truly an honor. Life is great. So proud of our show and all the amazing talented people that work on it."
