Can You Guess Where These Members of the Vanderpump Rules Crew Went to College?
Your favorite SURvers have degrees in more than just mixology.
This is your friendly heads up: Vanderpump Rules Season 7 premieres on December 3 at 9/8c. So before then, you might want to get a quick refresher on all the drama of the past six seasons by studying up with an epic binge. And speaking of studying... can you guess which members of the #PumpRules crew have their college degrees? (You know we like to know these things.)
Sure, several members of the gang headed to Los Angeles after high school to pursue careers in modeling or acting. But a few of your favorite SURvers also have degrees in topics as diverse as English writing and broadcast journalism. Plus, one member of the crew almost became a doctor!
Keep scrolling to see which of the #PumpRules pals went to college (and try not to be too jealous that you weren't roommates with any of them).
Brittany Cartwright
Everyone's favorite southern belle studied nursing at Eastern Kentucky University — and she had quite the school spirit. "I was a cheerleader for my college," she once told The Daily Dish.
Ariana Madix
Just in case you don't keep up with College Humor's "Cute College Girl of the Week," here's some scoop on Ariana: She studied theater arts at Flagler College in Florida. She also took some summer workshops at New York University.
Stassi Schroeder
Stassi earned her degree in English writing at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She could write a book — and has! The SURver was an ace student, and once told The Daily Dish: "I absolutely love school, I miss classes, and would die to go back. But my parents aren't too keen on paying for grad school just because I enjoy it!"
Tom Schwartz
Paging Dr. Schwartz! The Tom Tom co-owner almost had a very different career. He actually studied medicine at Florida State University. But then, the acting bug bit. Tom once said: "I was pre-med in college. [But] what I really wanted to do was act. I thought, 'Who am I to think I can be an actor?' I tried to deny the feeling for a while but then I got into print [modeling] work and the entire being on set thing was really fun."
Scheana Shay
Scheana has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific University. Before starting her own podcast, the SURver said: "I studied broadcast journalism, radio, and TV production, so kind of combining all of that into my own show is really exciting."
Jax Taylor
The Michigan native studied at Michigan State University and at community college, but he ultimately dropped out to join the Navy. Stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, Jax served for four years.
