Katie Maloney-Schwartz Slams Critics: “I Just Really F--king Love Baggy Clothes”
The Vanderpump Rules SURver addresses rumors that she's using loose-fitted clothing to hide a pregnancy.
Katie Maloney-Schwartz is fed up. After a continuing influx of pregnancy rumors, the Vanderpump Rules SURver has decided to clear the air once and for all with a very raw and candid message.
First, Katie made sure to down any pregnancy speculations tied to her physical appearance. "Um, yes, I gained weight but like, whatever. People do that sometimes," she shared in an Instagram Stories clip on Tuesday.
However, Katie's fluctuating figure (which, YES, is completely normal occurrence — just ask Rihanna) isn't the only thing people are basing their conspiracy theories on. The brunette beauty also addressed any gossip concerning her style.
She added, "I'm just going to come clean, I just really f--king love baggy clothes. I love big T-shirts, I love big sweatshirts. It's just like there's nothing better and there's not one person that's going to disagree with me on that. And the only thing I'm hiding under my baggy clothes is a really fire body."
Spoken like a true queen.
Unfortunately, this certainly isn't the first time Katie has had to defend her appearance. On past seasons of Vanderpump Rules, we've seen Katie endure fat-shaming comments from both event planner Kevin Lee and cast mate James Kennedy.
Since then, the new home-owner has acquired a zero tolerance policy when it comes to body shaming in any form, and is determined to help others struggling with these issues.
"I will never forget the way those comments made me feel, which is why I feel it’s my duty to stand up to it. We are human, we are not made of steel," she told The Lookbook last year.
"I don’t want anyone to feel the way I felt, to go through life hating your reflection in the mirror, hate getting dressed every day, hate taking photos... it’s debilitating. So I’m channeling my newfound confidence into a positive energy to fight back against harsh criticism. I want everyone to know they are worthy and remind themselves of that every day."
