On April 4, the food expert shared a throwback snap of her eighth-grade self with a head of bouncy, tightly curled hair. In her caption, Padma even gave a little shout-out to the hairstylist behind said style — which happened to be herself.
Joking about the deadpan expression on her face in the throwback snap, the cookbook author wrote: "TFW you home-perm. (I am obviously pissed because my hair did not come out right for picture day.)"
Even though Padma of yesteryear couldn't manage to muster a smile for this style, we certainly can! Long live #80sHair.
