Jasmine Goode Reacts to All the Splits While Filming The Valley: "Went From 0 to 100 So Fast"
"They have to do what's best for them and their child — and maybe that’s not together," said Jasmine Goode.
Joining the cast of Bravo’s The Valley alongside several couples, Jasmine Goode has found herself stepping up in ways she couldn't have anticipated. Then again, when friends’ marriages break up, it’s a time to expect the unexpected.
And that goes double for former NFL cheerleader Jasmine. Two couples on The Valley have split since filming: Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor as well as Jesse Lally and Michelle Sanei Lally.
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Jasmine shared how her friends are doing post-breakup and credited them for seeking to find ways to make their marriages work.
“They tried their hardest,” Jasmine said.

Asked for her take on the recent breakups hitting the cast, Jasmine stated that “everything that’s going on” came at a startling, practically whiplash-inducing speed.
“I tell you, things just went from like zero to 100 so fast,” she said in her conversation with The Daily Dish.
News that Jax and Brittany were taking time apart and living in separate homes broke in late February, just a few weeks before The Valley debuted on March 19.

Brittany announced the split on her podcast, explaining that for the spouses and parents to toddler son Cruz, the separation was a time to “reevaluate.”
Then, on March 14, real estate partners Jesse and Michelle, who have a 3-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny, shared that they were calling it quits.
Jasmine acknowledged that a marriage ending is painful, but it can also be the choice that is the right one for a couple.
“I feel like right now, everybody's going in a direction that’s making them happy,” Jasmine said. “As long as kids are good, that’s what really matters.”
Jasmine came onto The Valley as a close pal of Michelle's. She’s been consistently ready to offer an ear, a hand, a shoulder to help during difficult situations.
“I want everybody to be happy,” she explained. “I’ve been there for Brittany and Michelle when they need a friend. I think right now, they’re doing OK and doing what’s best for them.”
Splitting from your spouse under public scrutiny can make it all harder. Brittany has gone on record to shoot down chatter that her split was about drumming up publicity for The Valley.
“I felt like people should just know that I wouldn't do something like that, especially for my son, Cruz,” Brittany said. “Like, I would never put him through something like this if it wasn't real. And I think that that was super hurtful for me that people thought that was what was happening.”
What are Jax and Brittany doing now?
Jasmine, meanwhile, has a full picture of what both couples were experiencing and what was going on as their relationships unraveled, noting that viewers only see what makes it on air.
“They might watch the show and think one thing,” Jasmine said. “It's hard to see because [you’re] only seeing, like, an hour worth of footage.”
Reflecting on where Jax and Brittany and Jesse and Michelle have been and where they may be headed, Jasmine took stock of her friends’ efforts and resilience.
“They tried their hardest,” she said. “They’re just moving in a way that they have to do what’s best for them and their child – and maybe that’s not together. And that’s fine. I think that's totally fine.”
To keep up with Jasmine and the entire cast, The Valley airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streams next day on Peacock.
