Candiace Dillard Bassett Just Revealed a Major Secret About RHOP
The cast member shared a step-by-step explanation to answer a question RHOP fans have had for seasons.
Among fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac, cast member Candiace Dillard Bassett is known for her iconic tendency to dry her tears with a signature folded tissue. (In fact, she even tweeted about it during the series premiere, writing, “Are you happy? I gave you a good folded tissue in episode one.”) During a November 15 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, Candiace spilled all of her folded tissue secrets.
When asked, “How do you fold your napkins to blot your tears? I want specifics for the folding,” Candiace followed up with an expert demonstration, which you can follow along with in the video, above.
“OK, so this is toilet paper. I advise against toilet paper because it gets real balled up in your face and in your tears. But you fold it until you can get into the triangle,” explained Candiace, holding up a sample. “Then, you keep folding until you can get it as sharp as possible. And then you just stick it in the duct.”
Candiace’s infamous folded tissue most recently made an appearance on the November 15 episode of RHOP. As the women ate dinner together in Portugal, Candiace opened up about her plans for motherhood, getting emotional when she revealed that she feels she is ready to have children. Although this was a rare occasion when Candiace did not have a folded tissue on deck, cast member Wendy Osefo was there to help her out.
“Here comes the tissue,” she said, passing one across the table, adding, “It’s already folded for you.”
