This Is What Gretchen Rossi Tosses Into Her Instant Pot for Dinner
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is the master of cozy recipes to try right now.
Gretchen Rossi really knows her way around a butternut squash. After sharing a recipe for butternut squash ravioli with a sage-butter sauce that looked beyond delicious, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum came back to the kitchen to demonstrate the art of making butternut squash soup.
To make the cozy dish, Gretchen loaded up her Instant Pot with some ingredients you might expect. There was, of course, squash. There was a smattering of onions. And of course, the clever home cook — who has an herb garden outside her back door — added a handful of sage.
But here's where things get a little surprising: Not only did Gretchen toss some apples into her soup, but she added hearty chunks of goat cheese right on top. So appealing! (Honestly, isn't anything with cheese?) We knew that cheesy risottos were among the best Instant Pot recipes to try, but cheesy Instant Pot soup?
Well, that opens a whole world of ideas.
Take a look at how the mixture looks while in the pot:

We're definitely going to steal this tip to make our soup a little creamier and tangier. Another win, straight from Gretchen's kitchen.
