Shannon: This Episode Is Uncomfortable for Me to Watch

This episode is heart pounding and uncomfortable for me to watch. So much information keeps coming up and I don't like the position I am in.

Dinner with Heather and Meghan was shocking. The speculation and conversations about Brooks' illness are not stopping and the women continue to ask me why Brooks has not seen one of the world-renowned doctors I referred to him. I don't have the answer to that question. It is quite clear that Meghan wants to get to the bottom of things. I would never pick up a phone and pretend that I was sick to get information. She will clearly do whatever it takes to try and gather information. 

I was excited to throw an Aries party. 2015 is the Chinese Year of the Ram and the discussion about our Aries birthdays was what initially bonded me with Vicki. Interesting also that Eddie and Christian are Aries! The décor and food were amazing!

I loved my dress for the Aries party, a vintage dress designed by Isaac Mizrahi. A Chinese theme for me brings up the image of ribbons flowing in a parade. This dress had individual black ribbons sewn all over the dress. Gorgeous! I was apprehensive when getting ready for the party. I don't like to continually be put in the position where negative things are being said to me about my friend. Telling Vicki about it blew up in my face at Brooks' birthday dinner, so I am not going to let that happen again. I don't want to doubt her or Brooks because I would never want to be doubted by one of my friends. 

Meghan brought me a very kindhearted gift. Using her research methods, she gave me a list of Aries characteristics with a gift for each. I definitely appreciated the thoughtfulness.

Meghan Investigates Brooks' Past

I was again floored by the information delivered by Meghan that she had contacted one of Brooks' ex-girlfriends who apparently alleged that Brooks had faked cancer in the past. She is definitely on a mission to get to the truth. And then to hear that Brooks found out about Meghan's plan. I know they cannot be happy about it.

Tamra Confronts Brooks

I understand why Brooks and Vicki are upset that Meghan reached out to one of Brooks' ex-girlfriends. I also understand why Meghan is upset that a statement was made about her marriage. I'm not sure why Brooks said “consider the source” when Vicki was the person that told Tamra. And I understand why Tamra would be upset that her credibility was questioned. It is just a big mess. 

To be clear, I would have done the research for Brooks' illness whether asked or not. Vicki did ask me for my help, though, on the same day that she found out about his diagnosis.

This drama keeps going next week. It is not fun. Until then...XO
