Dorinda Medley: I’d Rather Boil Myself Than Be at the Clambake

I always enjoy being hosted at the Hamptons by friends, but this time with the divide I didn’t feel put out so much since I hardly go there anyway. However, I was hopeful that this would be a place that we could all meet up, have some fun, see friends, and make amends. With this in mind, and to keep the spirit light and fun, I decided to buy mermaid outfits for all the girls. How can we stay mad at each other as mermaids?! Holidaying with girlfriends should be fun and inclusive, but alas, this once again did not happen as a group, and the houses were completely divided.
With this said, I was completely blindsided when Barbara disinvited me to her clambake. Barbara was once the outcast with Lu not so long ago and I made sure in all situations she felt loved and assured her that I wasn't taking sides and I was HER friend independently. I found the decision rude, heartless and plain mean. Barbara and Lu both know I am out here on my own and they couldn’t care less. So much for forgiveness and moving forward.
It turns out they hardly stayed at the clambake, led by Ramona, and before you know it the Blondes were back home with a bag full of lobsters! I took an ever-too-short nap watching Law & Order with Sonja’s dog Marley!

I can't sugar coat what Ramona said about Dennis; it was just a terrible and insensitive. What were you thinking?! Rule of thumb: Do not talk about anyone that has passed, especially family members!
