Dorinda Medley Says RHONY Newbie Leah McSweeney Reminds Her of a Current Housewife
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member shares her honest opinion about the newest addition.
One of the biggest revelations to come out of BravoCon 2019 so far is that The Real Housewives of New York City has handed out another apple. On Friday (November 15) during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen at BravoCon, it was revealed that Leah McSweeney has joined the cast for the upcoming Season 12.
"Well, we always make it nice," Dorinda Medley said of the new addition. "I think it’s an exciting season."
And now, Dorinda's sharing more about her thoughts on Leah. In an interview with Erik J. Mac for BravoTV.com, she said, "I was the old gangster in town, but this one I think, she's like Jesse James. I mean, I'm even a little taken aback by this one."
The similarities don't end there, however: if you're thinking that Leah sounds just like Dorinda when she came on the scene, Dorinda understands the comparison: "She's blonde and blue-eyed as well, and she's quite a little number. I really like her. She's really good."
And here's what we know about Leah so far: she founded the Married to the Mob clothing brand in 2004, and has expanded her personal brand to include work as a columnist for Penthouse magazine, among other ventures. And she previously appeared on an episode of The Millionaire Matchmaker almost a decade ago in 2010. So far, we're intrigued!
