Margaret Josephs' signature pigtails have undoubtedly earned their spot in the Real Housewives hall of fame. The "charming and disarming" hairstyle is truly one of a kind in the Bravo-verse; however, it's not The Real Housewives of New Jersey entrepreneur's only power hair move.
When Margaret isn't rocking her signature pigtails, it's Bravoleb hair guru Julius Michael's "power pony" she turns to for a statement-making look — and for a few other cosmetic reasons. Not only does this hairstyle add a playful touch to any ensemble, it also provides clients with an "instant facelift" effect, Julius revealed in a hair tutorial video with Page Six.
"I need the instant facelift because my face used to hang on the ground, but Julius made me realize I needed a real facelift," Margaret shared, referring to her 2019 facelift procedure. Julius added, "Well, I pulled you so tight, you were like, 'I gotta do this for real.'"
The key to creating Julius' signature ponytail is to first set the hair with rollers an hour before to add plenty of volume. Then, he layers in extensions, adds a topper for more volume, secures the ponytail with a hair tie, molds any loose hairs with a working hair spray, and tops it off with a stronger hold hair spray.
