Dina Manzo Responds to Comments About Her Face Looking Different These Days
The RHONJ alum says: "Some of you are commenting that I look different. You’re absolutely right."
Dina Manzo and Teresa Giudice had a stylish meetup recently in California, proving that this The Real Housewives of New Jersey friendship is still going strong despite the fact that they live on opposite coasts now. But Instagram commenters had plenty of thoughts about Dina's radiant new look in this selfie, and the RHONJ alum responded right back with answers.
"Some of you are commenting that I look different. You’re absolutely right," Dina wrote on Instagram about this photo with Teresa. "When the thing on the center of your face changes you’re gonna look different lol. Two years ago I got my nose fixed."
Dina was an open book when it came to her nose job, done by plastic surgeon Ashkan Ghavami, MD (he's who Vanderpump Rules alum Billie Lee turned to as well.) She asked: "If you have the opportunity to make something better why wouldn’t you?" But it took time for her to adjust to her new look.
"I had a really hard time adjusting to my new nose especially the first year. Although my Dr is amazing at what he does, it did change my overall look. I had a prominent Italian rounded nose and now I had this perfectly proportioned petite nose. It’s a big adjustment especially when you live with the same face for 45 yrs," she wrote.
That's not the only change she made with Dr. Ghavami, although she's keeping that a bit mysterious. "Since I was going under anesthesia anyway (which I totally despise) I had @drghavami make a few tweaks so I didn’t have to go the filler route," Dina said. "I hate fillers plus they’re so damn expensive... @drghavami likes to say “keep em guessing” so I’ll leave it at that."
Dina who admitted that she does "have really GOOD skin," called out "good genes" and "lots of water" for her youthful looks as well. "How do you think I landed my hot ass younger husband," the newlywed joked. The rest of her beauty routine includes Botox, permanent eyebrow makeup, lash extensions, chemical peels, PRP facials (a favorite of Kyle Richards too!), and minimal makeup except for Clé de Peau Beauté concealer.
"A smaller nose does make me look much younger & my “tweaks” make me look refreshed," Dina wrote. But she thinks lifestyle choices are important too. "I eat right, work out and work on my mind & spirit just as much if not more. That helps you stay youthful & glowy the MOST," she said.
