Teresa’s Lawyer Responds to Accusations That Louie Gifted Her Daughters Fake Cartier
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member’s lawyer called the Christmas gift allegations “silly.”
After Teresa Giudice’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, gifted her daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana $12,500 Juste Un Clou Cartier bracelets for Christmas, social media users were quick to doubt their validity following Gia’s since-deleted unboxing TikTok.
Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard, however, quickly responded to the naysayers, telling Page Six how much The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member’s daughters appreciated the gesture.
“I think in the spirit of what Christmas is really all about, people’s focus should be elsewhere and not on something silly like this,” he told the outlet. “That being said, the girls are very happy with their bracelets and grateful to have received them.”
Neither Teresa nor Louie seem bothered, instead focusing on family for the holidays after sharing an incredible Christmas Eve together.
In a December 26 interview with People, Teresa laid out her goals for the new year ahead. “I just want peace, love, happiness, and health, and I’m leaving toxicity [behind],” she said. “Life is short, it’s very valuable, so you have to value the time that you have on this earth and surround yourself with good people, good vibes, people that are happy for you.”
She also added how much the girls “embrace” Louie as well as his children from another marriage, Nicholas and Louie Jr.
“We all came into our lives with our own stories… so it was like, ‘How are we going to be in these roles?’” Louie added during the interview. “[Teresa and I] started looking at each other like, ‘Look, we got this right, so let’s get this right. Let’s give these kids the best days and mornings that they could have.’”
