Caroline Manzo Says Her Husband Al Is a "Teddy Bear" of a Grandfather

If we learned one thing this weekend at BravoCon, it’s that grandmotherhood looks good on Caroline Manzo! The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum sat down with Bravo’s Megan Segura and Kim Richards to discuss how being a grandma has changed their lives. Kim was quick to note that the amount of love she has for her grandchildren is “insane,” and Caroline revealed that her granddaughter is the reason behind her recent 20-pound weight loss. (And yes, that's in addition to revealing that Albie might be engaged soon!) 

“For me, my Marchesa, I want to put her in a bubble and carry her and not have her shed a tear for her entire life,” she said. “I want everything to be sunshine and Candyland for her. She was the reason I got healthy because I don’t want to be the grandma that sits in the chair. I want to be the grandma that rolls around on the ground and runs around and plays catch.”

As for how Marchesa (aka “Markie”) Scalia interacts with Caroline’s husband, Al, well, not surprisingly the grandpa is smitten with the sweet girl. “[He’s] the biggest teddy bear,” Caroline shared. “She takes his glasses off him, she calls him papa and [he’s] like, 'What do you want? You want me to get the moon out of the sky? I’ll get it for you.'"
