Cary Deuber Shares a Full Look at Her First Facial Plastic Surgery
The Real Housewives of Dallas alum got upper eyelid surgery by her husband, Dr. Mark Deuber.
Cary Deuber just got surgery on her face for the first time, and it was done by none other than her husband, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Deuber.
On October 27, The Real Housewives of Dallas alum took to Instagram to share some changes she had planned for her face. In the video, Cary revealed that she was going to get a few laser treatments, including Halo to help with sun damage and Profound around the jowls, as well as upper eyelid surgery.
"I've never had any surgery on my face — I know everybody loves to say that I have, but I haven't," she clarified. "My eyes are just not open like they used to be and I have all this extra skin right here," she explained, pointing to her eyelids. "I'm 44, it happens."
The following day, Cary went in for an upper blepharoplasty (a procedure that repairs droopy eyelids by removing excess skin, muscle, and fat). Cary shared a full look at the surgery performed by her husband live on Instagram, from the moment Mark prepped her eyes to the actual removal of excess skin from her eyelids.
Cary remained awake during the process with administered laughing gas and narrated the graphic videos of her surgery. "I am kinda nervous. I love my husband, but it's my face," she admitted in a clip while on the operating table.
As a certified registered nurse first assistant in Mark's clinic, Cary went in well familiarized with the procedure. "I can't feel it, I can hear it, but I've done a lot of these with [Mark] so I know what he's doing," she shared in one of the clips. "We're taking that excess skin off right now — doesn't hurt at all," she described.
Once the surgery was done, Cary shared a grinning selfie of herself giving a thumbs up while still on the operating table. "All done & feeling great!!" she captioned the photo. Before moving onto her laser treatments, she assured, "It's going to look natural, nothing crazy. I don't like looking unnatural."
