Ski trips are so much fun! The snow, the skiing, the warm cuddly clothes, the hot chocolate, the hot tub! But so much work too, lugging all the crap, the boots, the cold;
And so it is with these girls; a lot of fun, but then so much work…
The hard work started right away this week; D'Andra Simmons and Brandi Redmond are cross-wise with me in the middle. Now, when somebody (D’Andra) tells you something troubling about another mutual friend (Brandi), you’ve got two options, keep it to yourself, or lay it out for all involved. You go with option one, you’ve proven you can keep a confidence, but, then when it eventually comes out and people find out you knew, the sh--’s gonna hit the fan for you (me); with these girls, the nasty stuff is always gonna eventually come out; I know option two is going to be better for everyone; the issues come out early and get resolved. It’s the best protection for everybody. I’m not gonna get buried with your sh--anymore.
Ok, so on to the ski trip.
This getaway started off great. A private flight into Vail. And our first stop; I mean, who doesn’t love a great beaver licker???

We started off with Tequila right away. Not sure what was up with LeeAnne Locken; I applaud her for making sure she could stay in control, but, I’d like to see her up for some more real fun with the rest of us. Although, she was the smart one going to bed early.
On to the Badge…. I love Kam but damn, Gina! She is hell to fight with. It is like being on those swings an amusement park that keeps going round and round and higher and higher until you think you are going to barf.Stephanie Hollman, Brandi and I get amped up and nothing good happens. Talk about missing the forest for the trees, Kam hears only what she wants to hear, she latches onto one or two words. That whole argument about keeping Bruin a surprise is nonsensical and it got blown up into epic proportions. Speaking of a ton of tequila, that hot tub sure was nice…
