Cary Deuber's Latest Cosmetic Treatment Proves the Price of Beauty Can Be Gruesome
The Real Housewives of Dallas skincare expert joked that she looked like "the walking dead."
The Real Housewives of Dallas skincare expert Cary Deuber is always up to be a guinea pig for the latest and greatest beauty treatments. (Remember when the certified registered first nurse assistant tried out a butt sculpting machine?) But Cary's latest Instagram from her work at the Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery and Laser Center reminds us that getting beautiful isn't always glamorous.
"I always try out our newest procedures whenever I can to give our patients the BEST possible advice and results! This is my Laser Resurfacing journey that I started with @lemmonavenueplasticsurgery to share with you how *minimally* invasive and *massively* beneficial our custom laser combinations can be," Cary wrote on social media, along with one photo of herself looking like she was glowing from within — and another where she looks like, well, as The Real Housewives of Orange County pal Kelly Dodd would say, "a bloody mess."
What's the benefit of laser resurfacing? Cary explained it like this: "From dark spots to fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and jawline, follow along as I again share the steps that we took with our #laserspecialist @paulkraft to minimize these signs of aging using light energy deep into the skin to boost the body’s natural ability to fight aging. I’ll be sharing the raw before and after process so you can see exactly what it’s like up close & personal."
She's not holding back! "I def looked a bit like the walking dead lol," Cary wrote in the comments to her post. But don't worry, it's not anywhere near painful as it appears. "I was so numbed, it LOOKED worse than it FELT," Cary wrote in the comments, comparing it to a "minor sunburn."
In fact, she says she hopped on a plane the next day after her laser treatment. "This is immediately after my procedure, and I was back to normal in less than a week and traveling the next day," she explained. "It beats surgery, and I was back to normal in a week. HUGE difference. That’s what I consider minimally invasive for some massive results." Cary promises more behind-the-scenes deets from her laser experience, including a video of the procedure, so stay tuned.
