Kyle Richards Opens Up About *That* Drama Surrounding Her Rings
"I felt like I was literally on trial," the RHOBH cast member said after being confronted about her jewelry.
On this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, there has been quite a bit of conversation surrounding Kyle Richards' rings — or lack thereof.
During the Season 13 premiere, Kyle was "very taken aback" when Mauricio Umansky's mother asked her about the gossip regarding the state of the longtime couple's marriage. Kyle explained, "I was seen without my wedding ring, and people started the rumor."
"Yes, [Mauricio] and I have been having a hard time, but the picture of me without my ring has nothing to do with that," she continued in an episode interview. "I've still been wearing a wedding band, so why are people saying that because of one time when I was lifting weights before that?"

Once that was settled, new questions came up when Sutton Stracke spotted a different ring on Kyle's finger. "I did notice the sapphire-and-diamond ring that she's wearing now," Sutton told Garcelle Beauvais in Season 13, Episode 6. "It's brand new."
At Kyle's dinner party during the same episode, which aired on November 29, she and Sutton had a heated exchange, prompting Garcelle to ask, "What's with the new band?"
When Sutton followed up by noting Kyle hadn't been wearing her wedding ring, Kyle explained, "It's in the bank, my big diamond."
Garcelle turned the conversation back to Kyle's new ring, asking if it was "a make-up band" from Mauricio. Kyle quickly shut that down, saying, "It wasn't a gift from Mauricio. I bought it myself."
That conversation will continue into Episode 7, but in the video above, Kyle shared more insight into the ring drama.
"I felt like I was literally on trial," Kyle explained in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 After Show clip. "I was like, 'What is happening here?' They were like, 'Did you or did you not receive a ring that was a gift from Mauricio because he cheated on you?'"
As for why Garcelle raised the question about the "make-up band," she admitted in the clip, "I mean, I just blurted it out. I don't even know where that came from."
Although Kyle shared she did receive "push presents" after giving birth to her daughters, she once again confirmed her new ring was not a gift from Mauricio to make up for anything. "I didn't know that was a thing," she said. "But I guess what sparked it was me being seen without any ring on, which, even though [Mauricio] and I are having problems, that had nothing to do with it."
"Now, I'm not wearing a ring by choice," she continued. "That day was honestly because I just really had been lifting weights. I actually lost two diamonds in Vegas lifting weights when I was with you guys. That's why I don't wear a ring, but I was so scared to take the fricken ring off after all the women came at me."
