Denise Richards: Something Tells Me This Will Be a Bumpy Ride
"I’m really having a lot of fun settling in and look forward to getting to know all the girls a bit better."
Hello all you loyal Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans! The time has come for my first blog, and I’m so excited to engage with you all more each week. As soon as it was announced that I joined this amazing group, the support has been incredible and really touching. I can’t thank you all enough for embracing me on this wild journey.
As some of you may already know, I’ve been close friends with Lisa Rinna for years. When she invited me over for a girls get together, I was looking forward to finally meeting Dorit and Erika in person. (Fun fact, I really wanna be Erika! She is a life-size Barbie, and who wouldn’t want to look that glamorous all the time?!) The ladies couldn’t have been nicer. On a side note, I had never realized what a hugger I am! I don’t usually go around hugging strangers but clearly felt comfortable with those two. I see how that could come across off-putting to some and look stupid. Oh well.
Luckily, Casamigos Tequila (my favorite brand) had my back by playing ice breaker when forming these new friendships! I really enjoyed meeting them, and Dorit is adorable and so sweet. Looking back, I do wish Lisa had given me a heads up that the flies were pooping on the snacks before I ate them, haha. She knows me all too well and how much I love my snaaacks!
It was fun watching Kyle, Teddi & Lisa Vanderpump interact at Vanderpump Dogs. They have a good banter back and forth, but the moments we saw how much LVP is grieving over her loss were tough. Losing someone you love is not an easy situation to go through.
Having gotten to spend some time with Dorit and Erika, I was really excited to meet the rest of the ladies. Aaron and my older girls and I were looking forward to doing so when Kyle invited us over for a pool party. Sadly, I didn’t bring Eloise as I wasn’t sure what the pool situation was. She’s special needs and still cannot swim. We’re working on it though!
I’m really having a lot of fun settling in and look forward to getting to know all the girls a bit better. Something tells me it’s going to be a bumpy ride! See you all next week!
XO,
