Denise opens up about struggling to follow the drama on the 'Wives' trip to the Bahamas.
Hi guys! I can’t believe it’s week three already. Here we are in paradise: the Bahamas. It had been a while since I had been, so I was excited to return, especially with the girls. As expected, Dorit orchestrated a fab setup. My room was gorgeous. Too bad my wardrobe was not up to par with the rest, haha! Lesson learned: When traveling with this bunch, there’s no time to dress down.
On my first trip away with all the ladies, I was really looking forward to getting to know everyone more. I’m all about getting the relaxation time in, so it was perfect to break off with Lisa Vanderpump for a little massage. I really enjoyed getting a chance to speak with her one on one, and it was lovely to bond with her over our adopted children. That’s a story very special to my heart, and I enjoyed being able to share that with Lisa.
It wouldn’t be a proper Bahamas trip without some fun beach action. As usual, Erika cracked me up when she asked for a Bond girl water scene. My memorable water moment was definitely in Wild Things but was happy to live out the Bond girl fantasy!
Once we made it to dinner, you’ve lost me. Being down at the end of the table, I really struggled to hear what was being said on the other end. Once I came back from the restroom, it was clear there was some sort of heated exchange happening, but I had no clue what was going on. I’m still playing catch up there.
