Phaedra: I Will Always Be There for Kandi

Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind when Mama Joyce showed up at your office?
Phaedra Parks: Although I was not expecting a visit from Mama Joyce, it was a welcomed surprised. As mothers we are always concerned about our children. Similar to Kandi, I had two high risk pregnancies, so I understand her concern. I appreciate that Mama Joyce acknowledged that Kandi and I have a long history together and we have shared life changing moments. I am glad that she knows at the end of the day I will always be there for her and Kandi.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised when Mama Joyce wanted your help with the baby shower?
PP: Yes, I was a bit surprised, but thought it was very sweet of Mama Joyce to ask me to assist. Mama Joyce knows that the friendship between Kandi and I has a rich history and she knows that we have shared many significant life events. I appreciate her acknowledging the big picture of our connection and including me in the plans. And everybody knows I love planning extravagant events.

Bravotv.com: Do you think you and Todd finally put the issue to rest and moved forward?
PP: The matter is finally being handled in professional manner on both sides and in the correct venue and context. So I am pleased with the progression. The fat lady has not yet sung, but she is warming up.
