Cynthia Bailey Reveals That Peter Thomas “Reached Out” to Her Amid Mike Hill Divorce

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey is hardly navigating her divorce from Mike Hill alone. Among those who have offered support is her ex-husband, Peter Thomas.

“Peter reached out to me,” Cynthia revealed to Page Six at BravoCon 2022. “He said he just wishes me the best. He told me I was a queen and that I deserve the best, so that was really, really nice.”

She and Peter finalized their divorce in March 2017 after seven years of marriage. Then, in August 2018, she and Mike went public with their relationship, before eventually tying the knot in October 2020. While announcing that they’d decided to go their “separate ways” on October 12, Cynthia and Mike noted in a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight that “no one is to blame” and they “remain good friends.”

Regardless, breaking up is rarely easy, which is why one Bravoholic did a “wellness check,” asking how the RHOA alum was really feeling during a Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show fan Q&A that aired on Tuesday, October 18.

Cynthia was visibly moved by the BravoCon attendee’s concern. “I’ve been doing good this whole time, so don’t make me get emotional,” she replied. “I am doing great. Thank you so much for the wellness check.”

Even so, Bravo’s three-day New York City event proved to be just the “distraction” Cynthia needed as she adjusts to single life. “I will say that BravoCon came right on time,” she added. “I’ve had a really nice, healthy, fun distraction from my family life, away from my Bravo family… Although, unfortunately, CHill is officially chilling for real, chilling out. I’m a Pisces woman, I believe in love, so I’ll just keep looking.”
