Kourtney Kardashian's Avocado Smoothie Recipe Needs Just 3 Ingredients — And One Minute to Prep

Kourtney Kardashian recently launched her new website, Poosh with an array of lifestyle tips and ideas — including some of her favorite recipes. Not all are without controversy: Consider, for instance, the buzz (even confusion) surrounding her "Signature Salad" recipe.

Well, among the other recipes contained within the pages of Poosh is a less-controversial — and super easy — breakfast recipe that could just become your new go-to. Sharing Kourtney's avocado smoothie recipe, Poosh gushes over its simplicity and nutrition, especially as a morning meal. The fat-filled ingredient [avocado] offers nearly 20 vitamins and minerals," notes Poosh. " Since avocados are high in fat, it’s best to eat the fruit in the morning so your body can burn the calories throughout the day. Kourt recently updated her recipe by swapping honey for dates. This tweak still adds a bit of sweetness and provides an additional source of fiber."

The recipe calls for just three ingredients, all blended in a blender until smooth: one organic avocado, pitted and peeled; one cup organic coconut milk; and two teaspoons Manuka honey or dates.

While Poosh suggests that the recipe — "one of Kourt’s favorite breakfast options — should take about five minutes to prep, it's hard to imagine that tossing three ingredients into a blender should really require more than a single minute or so of prep time.
