Now 116 Pounds, Kim Kardashian Reveals the Diet Change Behind Her 20-Pound Weight Loss
Kim Kardashian has been criticized for celebrating an "anorexic" look, but says she is "proud" of the results.
Kim Kardashian attributes her recent 20-pound weight loss to a combination of diet and exercise. Her personal trainer, who is a former bodybuilder, comes to work her out at home at 6 a.m. six days a week, alternating areas of focus each day.
"I was almost 140 forever and now I’m like 116 and it just feels good,” she revealed to People. “I didn’t see results right away, but when you stick with something and you’re consistent, you will. So, I love it.”
She's still eating lots of salads (and baking in racy outfits, because of course), but she made another major switch-up that has really helped.
“I don’t really eat sugar the way that I used to. It doesn’t really do it for me,” she explained.
All the training has set good habits.
“I’ve kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to. I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it,” she noted. “And so I really do control that now... I don’t want to ruin it by just stuffing my face.
But Kim is human, and though she is disciplined about diet and exercise, she has a very human weakness:
"I love Häagen-Dazs ice cream," she admitted. "That’s like my one go-to.”
Although Kim announced she's "proud" of her weight loss, she's been the center of controversy in recent weeks for celebrating her "anorexic" look along with her famous sisters.
