Jenna Jameson on How She Maintains Her Goal Weight: "Upping My Calories From Keto Diet But..."
Jenna Jameson is a Keto diet believer, but she's "allowing room" now that she's at her goal weight.
Jenna Jameson is still touting the benefits of the Keto diet after losing more than 60 pounds since giving birth to her daughter Batel Lu in April 2017. She's been sharing before-and-after photos of her physical transformation on social media as well as exactly what she's eating when she's not intermittently fasting, including favorites like three eggs with cheese and avocado, arugula salad, grilled asparagus or zucchini and nuts. She's now at her goal weight of 125 pounds and has made some tweaks to her diet so that she doesn't continue to lose weight.
"Let’s talk maintenance. This is something I know very little about, but like everything I do... I’m trusting my intuition," she wrote on Instagram.
She continued, "Since I’m at my goal weight (125) I don’t want to lose more, so I’m upping my calories from my usual #ketodiet . But LISTEN TO ME, I am not saying to myself... 'it’s ok to eat garbage processed nastiness! I am sticking to yummy organic fresh foods. I’m just allowing myself room."
She also shared some exact foods that she ate that have kept her at an even keel through her new lifestyle.
"Yesterday I ate a HUGE siracha burger with jalapeños done protein style. I ate salmon and a big Caesars salad for dinner and had my usual three eggs and cheese for breakfast. My scale is reflecting and staying put. I think a lot of us worry about details that don’t really matter, like times and exact numbers. My advice is trust your intuition and trust your body. I also allow myself a treat more often now. Once a week I get some gelato or ice cream. Guilty pleasure for sure!"
