Yolanda Hadid and Kris Jenner Finally Address If Their Families Have Ever Feuded
The RHOBH alum and the KUWTK mom address if they’ve ever had beef.
Yolanda Hadid and Kris Jenner got dolled up as the infamously warring Dynasty characters Krystle Carrington (played by Linda Evans) and the oft-married Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan (played by Joan Collins) for the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, but these two matriarchs are anything but enemies in real life.
While the story's visuals include a re-enactment of Krystle and Alexis' catfight in a lily pond, the message that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and the Keeping up with the Kardashians momager express throughout the piece is unity and friendship.
“It’s fun to spend this kind of time together goofing around,” Kris told the publication.
The press has had fun in the past trying to ignite a feud between them over the years by questioning Yolanda's negative comments about being a momager and by speculating that there were complicated feelings in general because Kris' ex-husband Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn Jenner) was once married to Linda Thompson, who was once married to Yolanda's ex, David Foster.
But these families are actually close behind the scenes.
“Kendall is really good friends with Gigi and Bella, so I’ve had Kris at my house, and she’s been on vacation to Holland with us,” Yolanda revealed. “There’s a bond there between the families.”
The campiness of their Dynasty parody drives home a point that powerful women fighting each other is silly.
“Women need to support each other, not fight,” Yolanda asserted. “I always tell my kids, ‘Be kind and acknowledge everybody around you. People might not remember your beautiful face, but they’ll remember your beautiful heart.’”
