Would Reza and MJ Rather Choose Love or Money?

Andy Cohen isn't the only one who gets to ask the Shahs of Sunset stars the tough questions. When Reza Farahan and Mercedes "MJ" Javid were guests on iHeartRadio's The Melting Pot panel last week, hosts Tim Mihalsky and Ashleigh Speidel asked the friends a question that got right to the heart of who they are and what they value: "Would you rather find true love or have $20 million dollars?"

In true Reza fashion, his response was frank and comical. "Any one who says they would take true love, either already has 20 million, or they're lying," Reza says. And what would his fiancé have to say about that? "He would say, 'Bitch you cut me into the 20 million?!'"

MJ, on the other hand, said "I'm salt of the earth," and suggested she'd choose true love, but, "I already have true love!" she said, referring to her new boyfriend.

MJ went on to say that even though she can afford to be frivolous she is still frugal. She said that after sending her boyfriend out for something sweet recently she chastised him for buying an estimated 17 options. "I'm like, 'you have to spend $175? What if we didn't have that money?'"

Despite choosing the $20 million option, Reza concurs that money isn't everything... but it does help. "My grandmother said, 'Money can't bring happiness but when you are broke, you're miserable,'" he recalls. "You can't focus on good things in your life because you're always focused on money."
