Has Daniel Wai Changed Ariana Madix's Mind About Having Kids?
Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix admitted that her boyfriend has "opened [her] eyes" to new possibilities.
After maintaining for years that she doesn't want to have children, is Ariana Madix changing her mind?
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been vocal on the show about how she has no desire to have kids, though she did decide to freeze her eggs in order to give herself more options down the line if need be.
Following her split from Tom Sandoval in March 2023, Ariana began dating New York City-based fitness trainer Daniel Wai. On Season 11, Episode 2 of Vanderpump Rules (which aired on February 6), Ariana sat down with Lala Kent to talk about her new relationship, and to share whether she envisions herself having kids with Daniel some day.

During Ariana's smoothie date with Lala, the "Feeling You" songstress asked if the Something About Her co-owner could see herself having kids with Daniel one day.
"I mean, he is the first person I've met that I'm actually like, 'Oh, is that what that would be like?'" Ariana responded about the 40-year-old trainer. "I think he's opened my mind and he's opened my eyes to a lot of different possibilities that I could not see."
As Ariana explained in an interview confessional on the episode, she didn't feel like she was in the right place in her past relationship to take that next step.
"In retrospect, Tom being my partner affected my feelings on having kids a lot more than I thought it did," she said. "I feel like, with Dan, I've kind of had my eyes open to the fact that there are a lot of different types of partners out there who would actually be a real 50/50 partner."
She also believes that Dan would pick up the slack on the days that she can't give 50 percent.
"Or if I could only give 10 percent that day, he's ready to give 90 [percent]," she added.
Have Ariana Madix's thoughts on marriage changed?
In addition to previously expressing hesitation about having kids, Ariana also wasn't someone who wanted to get married. Back in October 2023, Ariana told Us Weekly that she's not sure at the moment if her thoughts on marriage have changed.
"I don't know," she said about whether she can see herself tying the knot with Daniel.
She also shared some of the qualities she loves the most about him, which echo what she said about how Daniel would be as a father. "He sacrifices his sleep and time to help me with anything I need, and then he takes a red-eye back and goes straight to work," she said about her long-distance beau. "He'll clean up things that are left out and [does] little things you don’t really think about."
