Tyra Banks Reveals the Real Reason She Left America's Next Top Model
Find out why she ultimately decided to return.
Tyra Banks is bringing her iconic smize back to America's Next Top Model. The series' co-creator, host, and head judge will be back at the helm of the upcoming Cycle 24.
Banks famously stepped away from the show when it ended its run on The CW after 22 cycles in 2015. After making a brief appearance in Cycle 23 on the show's new home on VH1, Banks announced that she would be returning as host of ANTM in March 2017.
Ever since then, we've been dying to know why Banks left ANTM in the first place — and why she decided to return to the series so quickly after her absence. Luckily, Banks revealed all during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday night, which you can check out in the above clip.
Trust us, Banks' response is guaranteed to raise your eyebrows. We mean, if you were to ask us for the reason behind Banks' departure and ultimate return to ANTM, we definitely wouldn't have guessed anything that she said on WWHL.
Banks teased what we can expect in the new season, including the elimination of an age limit for the contestants. Cycle 3 winner Eva Marcille is also set to make an appearance on ANTM this season in a special throwback-themed episode. Banks dished on the ANTM winner's upcoming appearance on RHOA this season on WWHL. Find out why Banks is "insanely obsessed" with Eva joining the RHOA crew, below.
