Here's What Tyra Banks *Really* Thinks About Eva Marcille Joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta
The supermodel has kept tabs on the ANTM winner.
We can't wait to see what fierceness is about to go down when Eva Marcille joins The Real Housewives of Atlanta later this season. Her former America's Next Top Model head judge and mentor Tyra Banks assures us it'll be worth the wait.
Tyra didn't hold back her love for Eva when gushing about her joining the Georgia Peaches this season on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night (clip above). "I'm insanely obsessed. I am so proud of her. I mean, from Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model, she has held her own and is doing her thing. And she comes back on this new cycle of America's Next Top Model. I come back and Eva comes back, and so to see her with you, oh my God," Tyra gushed. "I know what she can do what y'all have not seen. So you guys are very much going to enjoy her."
Of course, we should be thanking Tyra for bringing Eva into our lives in the first place. Eva first burst onto the scene in Cycle 3 of ANTM in 2004, ultimately winning the competition. As Tyra mentioned on WWHL, Eva will be returning to ANTM in the upcoming Cycle 24 in a special throwback-themed episode. “We were inspired by Throwback Thursday on Instagram and how popular that is, so we decided to dedicate an entire episode to Top Model throwback, and that’s something I want to continue on the show in the future: to always have an episode that’s all about the throwback,” Tyra told Entertainment Weekly in December.
These are altogether exciting times for Eva. In addition to joining the RHOA crew, Eva is expecting her second child, a boy, and she recently got engaged to boyfriend Mike Sterling.
