That is so much the case that the RHOC squad and fans have spent nearly all of Season 13 trying to figure out what really led to Gina filing for divorce. So leave it to Andy Cohen to finally get to the bottom of this during this season's reunion on Sunday night. Gina explained that she didn't join RHOC with the intention of seeking a divorce. "A hundred percent honest, I started this show knowing that Matt and I had been in a down, but I didn't know that that down was actually going to make me pull the trigger to get a divorce," she explained

Gina also shared the root of her marital issues with Andy. "When we moved away from Long Island, our relationship just wasn't enough," she said. "It's the little, the big, it's everything."

Gina went on to say that she wished Matt had been more expressive with his love for her during their marriage. "He's just not that person who compliments you and builds you up and makes you feel great. I've never walked out of a room and had him say, 'Oh my God, you look so beautiful.' You know, I've never even really had Matt look me in the eye and tell me in a genuine way, 'I love you.' And I do think those things are important," Gina said. "But you know what, I see him tell my daughter [Sienna] that, and it makes me love him for that, and I'm OK with that. That's what makes me know he's a good person, a good father, but not meant to be my husband, and that's it."

She also shut down speculation that someone had been unfaithful in their marriage. "I just don't think people get divorced because of affairs; I think people have affairs because there's a problem in their relationship," Gina said.

Gina reaffirmed her commitment to always keeping her family together, regardless of whether or not she's married to Matt, during the reunion. "No matter what happens in our relationship, I do respect him and I do love him. He's the father of my children, and I really, really, really, really want to have a good relationship with him because it's forever and it's hard and it sucks. I really want that."
