Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Confirms Relationship Status Following Baby News
The Shahs of Sunset cast member is expecting her first child after undergoing IVF.
Following the news that she is expecting her first child, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, opened up more about her current relationship status and what the future holds for her love life as she prepares to welcome her little one.
GG confirmed that she is currently single and plans to raise her child on her own as she shared her baby news with PEOPLE. She used a sperm donor and successfully completed a round of IVF in August.
So how does one go about finding a sperm donor, you ask? “I heard about a really good donor concierge company, who scavenges through the data from all the sperm banks in the nation and some neighboring countries to find you what you’re looking for,” GG explained to PEOPLE.
In GG's case, she was looking for some very specific qualities in her sperm donor, as you can see in the above interview with The Daily Dish from August 2018.
GG told PEOPLE that the process of finding a sperm donor was "amazing." “The profiles are about 47 to 50 pages each, and they’re filled with all this amazing information, like genetic background for the man and his entire family," she recalled. "I hate to joke about it, but you know the Build-A-Bear Workshop? It’s almost like that, but it’s a human. Build-A-Baby!”
The Shahs of Sunset cast member hasn't dated anyone since her divorce from Shalom Yeroushalmi was finalized at the end of 2018. “I’m okay right now focusing on me and my baby,” GG said. “We’re in a day and age that women are so much more independent, and we’re not necessarily relying on men in order to move forward in life. I can start a family and have my child without being in a relationship right now.”
However, GG said that she's not ruling out the possibility of having a partner in the future. “If I’m lucky to meet someone who I vibe with and it works, that’s great, but I’m not interested in getting married in the future and don’t necessarily see myself with a forever life partner,” she said. “My forever will be my child.”
