Katie Maloney Reveals Where She Stands with Tom Sandoval Today: “He Doesn’t Understand”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member also shared how she feels about her ex-husband's Winter House romance.
When it comes to her Vanderpump Rules loyalties, Katie Maloney is aligned with her Something About Her co-owner, Ariana Madix.
After Ariana and her boyfriend of over nine years, Tom Sandoval, parted ways in March 2023, Katie has made it clear that she is in her business partner's corner.
Plus, prior to Ariana and Sandoval's break-up, Katie and the Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner had a complicated friendship themselves.
Ahead of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, Katie appeared on the Off the Vine podcast to offer an update on where she stands with Sandoval today.

Katie Maloney Shares an Update on Her Friendship with Tom Sandoval
Though it's been nine months since Ariana and Sandoval broke up, Katie is still confused by the latter cast member's reaction to the fallout. When asked if she thinks Sandoval has changed since the split, Katie responded, "not in the slightest."
"Apologies are words. I think when someone's really sorry, you see that they're sorry. You see it with behavior modification, you see them changing how they operate," she said on the podcast. "It's one thing to say that you're sorry, it's another thing to prove that you're sorry."
Katie said that she doesn't think Sandoval grasps why the world had such a strong reaction to his breakup.
"He doesn’t understand why this was such a big deal,” Katie said about Sandoval's own response to the split, noting that he recently said, "everyone has cheated" on a podcast.
"Yeah, people were doing that when they were like young," Katie continued. "You’re not supposed to still be making those stupid mistakes and choices when you’re in your 40s."
"Just the fact that you still don't get it, to me, is like, 'You have some soul-searching to do, pal,'" she concluded.
Katie Maloney Weighs in on Tom Schwartz's Winter House Romance
In another moment from the podcast, Katie opened up about watching her ex-husband find a connection with Below Deck Mediterranean alum Katie Flood on Season 3 of Winter House.
"I want him to be happy. I want him to date, or to move on — whether it's serious or casual, whatever," she said. "I do want that for him."
She has been keeping up with the show, and she's seen Schwartz and Katie Flood hitting it off in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
"I've watched Winter House... of course I've wanted to watch it because I'm curious. I'm not affected by what he has going on... I have other friends who are on the show and I want to know what, specifically, other people are talking about so I can have an informed opinion about what it is," she explained. "I knew about what was going on in real time as well, and we like to roast each other a little bit. So I did give him a little sh-t about the name thing. I was like, 'Oh, another Katie?' I was like, '[I'm] Katie #1... I joke about that."
She also shared what she thought about Katie Flood when she met her.
"I want him to find happiness, [and] I'm happy for him," she added. "I met her at BravoCon briefly when we first got there. She's beautiful, and she works on a yacht."
Katie did weigh in on Schwartz's issue with calling Katie Flood by her first name.
"The thing is, he never called me Katie, and I never called him Tom," Katie said, before noting that her ex does still call her Bubba, because "It's like a reflex."
