Where Do Friendships Stand After the RHONY Reunion? Learn About the Ladies' Relationships Now

Some friendships were repaired while others are still at odds, as seen on the RHONY Season 14 reunion.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 reunion led to some explosive revelations.

How to Watch

Ubah Hassan, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, Sai De Silva, Jenna Lyons, and Erin Lichy joined their faithful host, Andy Cohen, for the cast’s very first reunion. Together, the group looked back at the season’s highlights, from the laugh-out-loud to the downright dramatic, hopefully with the open-mindedness needed to hash out their grievances and bury the hatchet.

But which friendships have grown stronger since the event? Here’s where some of the Housewives stand since giving audiences some of Season 14’s biggest blowups.

Brynn and Sai

At the heels of the RHONY season finale, when Brynn revealed that Sai spilled about Ubah’s secret relationship with Mr. Connecticut, it was difficult to tell whether the pair reached higher ground. Neither Housewife had seen one another since the finale, and while Sai apologized for unleashing her fury onto Brynn (citing being “angry in the moment” and “drinking too much”), things still weren’t great between the once “close friends.”

Brynn accused Sai of bad-talking her in public interviews ever since — as recently as a week before the reunion taping. Brynn further accused Sai of allegedly calling her a “sl-t” and “wh-re,” questioning how Brynn made a living, though Sai denied making any such comments.

Brynn said she appreciated Sai’s reunion apology, but wasn't interested in being friends.

“I don’t think about you, so it’s fine,” Brynn told Sai. “I have, like, a thousand friends, so I’m good.”

But Brynn grew emotional in the second half of the reunion when the conversation returned to their friendship. Sai agreed they’d bonded much because of their tough upbringings, making Brynn wonder why Sai would be so willing to “throw it all away.”

It looks like time will tell what’s in store for both women.

Erin and Ubah

Ubah previously told The Daily Dish that Erin had “some sh-t to answer [for]” ahead of the reunion, and she wasn’t kidding. At the forefront of their conversation was the RHONY season’s most explosive fight between her and Erin on the Anguilla girls’ trip.

Thankfully, both were willing to let bygones be bygones.

Ubah said she’d forgiven Erin while still in Anguilla, but seeing it played back — and watching Erin tell RHONY producers that it was the “worst conflict” of her life — led her to become angry about the situation all over again.

During the reunion, Erin admitted she was being “dramatic,” and both are now on good terms.

“We had fun this summer,” Ubah told Andy. “We hung out, we went out, I took her on the subway to go downtown.”

Earlier in the reunion, Erin said Ubah was the first person she called for support at news of her mother’s ailing health, especially since Ubah understood the pain of having a mother pass away.

Later, both hugged out their previous dramas, both looking forward to continued sisterhood.

Erin and Brynn

Andy said that while all friendships have their ups and downs, the relationship between Erin and Brynn was very “hot and cold.”

“I think we’re actually a lot alike in some ways,” Brynn admitted at the reunion.

Erin agreed with a smile, stating, “We just f-ck around with each other.”

Erin tried explaining that the pair share “a trust” and that there exists an “underlying mutual respect,” but her thoughts were interrupted when Ubah rolled her eyes and called Erin and Brynn “fake.”

“We’re not fake,” Brynn insisted. “If I say I like her, if I say how it is, then that’s how it is.”

While Brynn and Erin’s “fake friendship” made Ubah want to “puke,” Brynn maintained she and Erin remain close, and said they have matching necklaces to boot.

Ubah and Brynn

Ubah, Brynn, and Jessel sat at Andy’s right for the reunion when Ubah “broke down,” claiming that none of the other RHONY women had her back, especially after their Anguilla girls’ trip.

Even after Ubah cried and said, “F-ck all of you,” Erin rose from her seat and went to Ubah’s side, all while Brynn held Ubah’s leg to lend her emotional support.

Since the reunion, Ubah, Brynn, and Jessel gave fierceness and style when posing ahead of the talk show SHERRI, as seen in this Oct. 15, 2023 post. It looked like a good time was had by all!

Jessel, Sai, and Erin

RHONY Season 14 sometimes felt like Jessel versus Erin and Sai, and Jessel was having none of it at the reunion. She called Sai out for “sex-shaming her” in the most “vile and volatile way,” referring to the ongoing storyline of Jessel not being intimate with her husband, Pavit Randhawa.

Jessel also accused Sai and Erin of implying that Pavit was cheating on her for traveling for a mileage run to Vietnam to have a sandwich, something Erin and Sai denied at the reunion. Sai and Erin also maintained that they were unaware of how much Jessel struggled in her postpartum recovery following her IVF journey until they saw the show.

All three agreed that Jessel’s friendships with the others were now in a better place.

“We’ve been going out,” Sai told Andy as evidence that Sai and Jessel’s relationship has improved. “We’re fine.”

“We’re great,” Jessel agreed. “It was a very intense few months, and there’s highs and lows and emotions, but I think we all understand each other now. We understand our boundaries, we understand our personalities.”

Erin and Sai

Although Erin and Sai were a united front throughout RHONY Season 14, both seem to be at odds since the explosive season finale. Erin admitted at the reunion that she and Sai were “not in a good place.”

The division stemmed from a recent podcast interview when Erin — having heard Sai’s comments after RHONY episodes aired — learned Sai allegedly made fun of Erin’s shakshuka dish early in the season. She was also unhappy with how much Sai talked about Erin when speaking with producers.

“Honestly, I have no idea what happened to her,” Erin told Andy. “Something, like, switched.”

“You lie,” Sai responded. “And you don’t own your sh-t.”

Erin also addressed claims that she lied on a podcast about the now-infamous Cheese Gate scandal of the series. Erin denied saying Sai visited her house and complained about Erin serving cheese, and while Sai didn’t have receipts, she did bring the podcast clip to the reunion.

Erin admitted she “misspoke” and could have said what she felt more accurately.

“I don’t think it’s that deep,” Erin told Sai. “I actually said, if you listen to the podcast, a lovely thing about you right after. I said I actually really love Sai, and she’s a really close friend of mine.”

Sai said she didn’t hear that bit, and Erin said it was because she was too “incensed” and “angry” to listen.

“Whatever, it doesn’t even matter,” said Erin. “That’s what happened.”
