Katie Maloney Reveals Something About Her Will Open Before End of 2024: “Very Soon”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared new details about the sandwich shop she co-owns with Ariana Madix.
Over the past year, Katie Maloney and her business partner, Ariana Madix, have been keeping us updated about the opening of their sandwich shop, Something About Her. "We're on other people's time at this point," Katie explained during the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere party in January. "It's just literally waiting on physical copies of permits so we can get the final permit that we need. It's a waiting game."
More recently, the Vanderpump Rules cast member confirmed the sandwich shop will open before the end of 2024 during her March 19 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
When is Something About Her sandwich shop opening?
During the episode, host Andy Cohen brought up the topic with a viewer's question about the opening date. While Katie didn't want to commit to an "opening day" just yet, she did assure Andy that it was indeed coming sooner than we thought.
"This year?" Andy questioned, to which Katie promptly responded, "Oh, for sure!"
Katie also noted she shared more at the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion with Andy, and added, "You know that it's coming very soon ... so, very soon."
In addition to her appearance on WWHL, Katie spoke with BravoTV.com backstage before the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, Katie noted the Something About Her opening was "coming along," and reaffirmed the spot would be open "soon."

Katie Maloney explains the delays in opening Something About Her
In addition to her most recent comments, back in February, Katie appeared on Nikki Bella and Brie Garcia's podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, and went into detail about why the West Hollywood sandwich shop's opening continued to be pushed back.
“I think people really, genuinely think this is some kind of conspiracy theory when we’ve said so many times that like, we’ve truly been at the mercy of these different agencies and people that assign or give these permits out,” Katie shared at the time. “It's hard because, especially in West Hollywood, they don’t operate the same way the greater Los Angeles does. By the time you get someone to come out and do whatever inspection you need to, which can sometimes take weeks, if there's any kind of repairs or changes you need to make, then that takes the period of time and then you've gotta get them to come back. "
“It hasn’t even been a year since we actually started work on the property," Katie continued. “We acquired it. We took over the lease way before we were even prepared to. But we didn’t want to let it go so it feels like we’ve been working on this for a lot longer than we technically have."
