Jeff Lewis Gives an Update on Former Employee Vanina Alfaro
The Flipping Out designer reveals which former friends and employees he still keeps in touch with.
Employees came and went over the years at Jeff Lewis Design, but Vanina Alfaro was a mainstay. After being hired as an intern, she worked her way up to the position of design associate and stayed with the firm for several years.
However, it also eventually became time for Vanina to move on. She shared that she would be leaving Jeff Lewis Design in Season 10 of Flipping Out with the dream of starting her own interior design business (clip above).
Vanina did end up starting her own interior design firm and has since partnered up with Dina Morishita to launch Alfaro Mori Interior Design, according to her Instagram.
When Jeff Lewis appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 3, he confirmed that he is still very much in touch with Vanina today. "Vanina, I still talk to. I've actually referred her some business. I was just talking about her today," the Flipping Out designer shared. "But she's very successful now, and I'd like to take all the credit."
Jeff also had some good news about his relationship with Zoila Chavez, whom he previously teased would be coming back into his life after she retired from his employ in Season 10 of Flipping Out. "Well, that's kind of an interesting twist. Zoila is now back working for me again. She takes care of Monroe [Jeff's daughter] on Fridays and Saturdays," Jeff revealed on WWHL. "Yeah, she's back. She's part of the family."
