Why West Wilson Says He and Ciara Miller Are on “Opposite Sides of the Spectrum”

If you've ever been called a sweet name by Summer House's West Wilson, don't get too excited — apparently that's how he talks to everyone.
During Season 8, Episode 15 of the Summer House After Show, West was asked if he and his flame Ciara Miller have talked about how he speaks to her versus how he speaks to his friends. To illustrate the point, a clip rolled of West discussing how he calls his pals "baby."
"We are both probably on opposite sides of the spectrum in that regard," explained the sports journalist in the above clip. "Am I supposed to pivot all of my natural tendencies because she values them in a different lens? I feel like no. I'm going to always call people 'baby.' Like, 'What up, baby? Good morning.' Or the homies: 'Love you baby. Boom. See you tomorrow.' It's just a nice word."
Jesse Solomon confirmed that West does indeed call him baby "all the time."

While the pet name debacle may have not been a big deal to West, Ciara thought otherwise.
"I was concerned things that I consider a big deal, he was like, 'What? Like, it's chill,'" the model noted in the same clip. "With him, it's always like, not even 'I love you' means anything. He's like, 'I tell Paige [DeSorbo] and Jesse that I love them.'"
In his own conversation with Jesse, West responded.
"I just don't overthink. Not everything has to be heavy," he said. "If what I call my friends is a roadblock in a relationship, I think that's kind of weird. If you want me to not say 'love you' and not call you 'baby,' then f-cking okay, I won't! [But] it's gonna take a while to get that out of my system. It's how I talk."

We're all wondering ... but the duo is keeping their current relationship status a secret.
While appearing on the "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast in mid-May, West explained that all the questions about his current relationship with Ciara "will unfold" during the Summer House Season 8 reunion — and it's coming oh so soon.
The Summer House Season 8 two-part reunion kicks off Thursday, June 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Extended and uncensored versions will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
